Itinerary
• Mérida City Tour
We will begin in the elegant city of Mérida, known as the “White City,” where colonial history and Mayan heritage coexist in remarkable harmony. You will walk through one of the largest historic centers in Mexico, surrounded by European-style mansions, leafy plazas, and vibrant streets—exploring each space at your own pace, without the rush of conventional tours. Along the way, your guide will reveal, through a narrative crafted especially for you—closer to storytelling than traditional explanation—the stories behind landmarks such as the Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the grand residences of Paseo de Montejo. With every step, Mérida unfolds not just as a city, but as a living story waiting to be discovered.
• Great Mayan World Museum
We will then head to one of the most modern and impressive cultural spaces in southeastern Mexico. The Great Mayan World Museum houses one of the most important collections dedicated to this ancient civilization. Here, beyond observing artifacts, you will experience an immersive journey that connects past and present, understanding how Mayan culture remains alive in traditions, language, and worldview. Its contemporary architecture, inspired by the sacred ceiba tree, enhances this extraordinary experience.
• Traditional Cantinas of Mérida
To close the day, we will step into the most authentic side of Yucatecan life: its traditional cantinas. We will visit two of the most emblematic, carefully selected to avoid crowded tourist spots and instead offer genuine local experiences, where time seems to stand still among laughter, music, and irresistible aromas. Here, you will enjoy a selection of regional appetizers paired with traditional drinks in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. More than a gastronomic stop, it is a cultural immersion where every dish and every toast tells a story.
The tour ends taking you back to your hotel in Merida City.
